Waves of Memories is a Bio-Feedback based musical project which allows people to make music by just thinking, even if they do not have a musical background.

 

       The project’s aim is that the create a musical photo of theaudience’s memories by using brain waves. Brain waves are electrical impulses that result of communication between neurons so that we can feel, think and behave. Waves of Memories measures and turns these brain waves (Alpha, Delta, Theta, Beta and Gamma) by using a portable EEG Machine.The process works as follows; The EEG machine collects the data ofbrainwaves and sends the signals to computer, computer turns them to the musical pitches, notes and gestures with the help of an algorithm, lastly audience hear the composition from any sound source.
